Overseas 4500V
Born in the 1990s, the Overseas took cues from Genta’s ’70s designs and transformed them into a bona fide classic of haute horlogerie. As Vacheron Constantin celebrates its 270th anniversary, now is a particularly fitting moment to revisit the history of the Overseas collection through some of its most notable references. The 4500V features a slim 10.69 mm case and a 41 mm dial that together ensure exceptional wearing comfort, complemented by a sunburst, satin-finished lacquered blue dial, a circular satin-finished internal minutes track and a velvet-finished external minutes track for refined legibility. A discreet date window sits at 3 o’clock, while 18K gold applied hour and minute hands and hour markers are treated with blue SuperLuminova® for clear reading in low light. Perfectly suited to active lifestyles, this stainless steel model houses an automatic movement with a 22K gold oscillating weight inspired by the wind rose — a poetic tribute to the spirit of travel. The Maltese cross, a signature of Vacheron Constantin, is subtly echoed in the bezel design and the steel bracelet. Thanks to a secure clasp and a system of three easily interchangeable straps — steel, leather and rubber — the watch can be quickly personalized to suit the owner’s mood or occasion.
